Regional Manager in the Problem Loans Department

What you do:
- Manage an assigned portfolio, focusing on the collection of problematic receivables.
- Conduct phone calls and meetings with debtors to facilitate partial or full repayment of overdue obligations, negotiate out-of-court settlements, voluntary debt repayment, and restructuring of the bank's exposures.
- Prepare proposals for problematic receivables, including early maturity demands, partial and complete off-balance write-offs of problematic credit exposures.
- Draft notices to debtors regarding overdue payments and total debt/notarial invitations. Prepare extracts for court proceedings.
- Support the bank's legal advisors/servicing attorneys in issuing writs of execution, initiating enforcement proceedings, and other operational actions.
- Monitor the validity periods of mortgages/pledges and insurance of the bank's accepted collateral for problematic loans and take timely actions for renewal.
What you bring:
- Higher education degree in economics.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the banking sector.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in managing problematic receivables.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines and take responsibility.
- Teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with banking software products is an advantage.
- Experience with AI technologies such as ChatGPT.
