About the role

The ideal candidate should be a skilled Azure Operations Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on incident and event management, change management, and monitoring in cloud environments. The candidate should also have a good understanding of ITIL concepts and DevOps practices.


Key responsibilities

· Ensure and guarantee the operational stability of the infrastructure and tool stack by proactively monitoring performance, identifying potential issues before they impact operations, and implementing best practices for maintenance and optimization.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of all components, while continuously evaluating and enhancing the infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.

· Oversee incident and event management, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.

· Manage change management processes to ensure seamless operations.

· Configure and enable endpoint monitoring for ~50 customers and hand over to the Operations team.

· Set up application-level monitoring for ~50 customers and create dashboards for effective monitoring.

· Conduct routine reviews and KPI reporting to ensure operational efficiency.

· Handle problem management for Prisma Cloud, Dependabot, Sonarqube, and Azure audit events, sharing insights and knowledge with the Operations team.

· Conduct regular vulnerability management, including those identified by Allianz Cyber Defence Center, Dependabot, and GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS).

· Onboard privileged access management for user authentication and authorization.

·  Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on issue resolution and system performance.

· Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, operational procedures, and issue resolutions.

· Participate in rotational shifts to ensure global coverage and timely resolution.

· Familiar with the ITSM tools (Service Now), Incident Management, SLA definitions and change management.

 

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations engineer role, preferably in cloud monitoring and incident management environments.

· Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and incident management processes.

· Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices for cloud environments (e.g., Azure, ).

· Experience with configuring and managing application and endpoint monitoring.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Experience in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

· Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
