Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and improve the day to day client relationship
• Act as the account lead for assigned accounts based on the Client Value Proposition
• Understand commercial underwriting process and propose appropriate policy terms to existing clients to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio
• Negotiate the best possible policy terms for the company while delivering a high standard of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate closely with different internal functions (Claims, Policy Management and Credit Risk)
• Maintain solid relationship with insurance brokers, sales agents as well as clients
• Capable of setting up renewal strategies and deliver high retention ratio and growth for the portfolio and meet company targets
• Conduct ad hoc projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any business-related discipline
• 3-5 years’ work experience in an account management role within a Financial Services environment, development underwriting role within Trade Finance / Trade Credit Insurance is a plus
• A highly customer-focused individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills a must
• Have a proven track record of account management and performance on large corporate account with growth portfolio
• Customer-driven with a passion to provide first class services to clients, insurance brokers, partners
• Outgoing, highly energized and self-motivated
• Experience in working for MNCs a definite advantage
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
