About the role

  • Claims Management: Manage complex and high value home claims, making sound technical decisions on liability, cost, quality, timelines while meeting compliance and performance standards.
  • Member Service: Provide compassionate, end-to-end claim support to members delivering professional, empathetic, and high quality service tailored to each members individual needs ensuring positive claim experiences.
  • Risk, Compliance & Quality: Adhere to RAA policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations; identify and report risks; and proactively maintain safety, quality, and service standards.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Foster positive working relationships with external partners, support colleagues with technical guidance and in high-demand periods to contribute to team success through participation and flexibility.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain up-to-date knowledge, seek feedback and coaching, and act on opportunities to enhance skills, service delivery, and technical capability.

 

About you

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and outcomes for members.
  • Extensive experience in General Insurance Home Claims.
  • Skilled in managing high claim volumes with strong knowledge of insurance practices, legislation, and industry codes.
  • ANZIIF qualifications highly regarded; passionate about embracing emerging technologies in a digital-first environment.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast -changing digital world
