Home Loss Adjuster – RAA - Adelaide

About the role 

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of General Home Claims with attention to detail and empathy. 
  • Conduct onsite and desktop assessments to evaluate damages and determine cause of loss with care and precision.
  • Provide daily technical support to the Home Claims department and assist with complaint resolutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to guide the claims process.
  • Offer compassionate, end-to-end claim support to members.
  • Make informed and balanced decisions on liability, cost, quality, and timelines, while meticulously documenting all actions.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with internal and external partners.

 

About you

  • Proven track record of providing excellent service and results for customers.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of Claims, providing timely solutions to customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with people on all levels with empathy and clarity.
  • Strong partnership and negotiation skills, able to engage with internal and external partners to ensure cost effective outcomes.
  • Must have a valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Experience in the field of loss adjustment will be ideal but it is not essential.
  • Eager to advance your career by pursuing loss adjusting qualifications, with support available to help you achieve them.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
