About the role
- Manage a diverse portfolio of General Home Claims with attention to detail and empathy.
- Conduct onsite and desktop assessments to evaluate damages and determine cause of loss with care and precision.
- Provide daily technical support to the Home Claims department and assist with complaint resolutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to guide the claims process.
- Offer compassionate, end-to-end claim support to members.
- Make informed and balanced decisions on liability, cost, quality, and timelines, while meticulously documenting all actions.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
About you
- Proven track record of providing excellent service and results for customers.
- Experience managing a portfolio of Claims, providing timely solutions to customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with people on all levels with empathy and clarity.
- Strong partnership and negotiation skills, able to engage with internal and external partners to ensure cost effective outcomes.
- Must have a valid Australian Driver's License.
- Experience in the field of loss adjustment will be ideal but it is not essential.
- Eager to advance your career by pursuing loss adjusting qualifications, with support available to help you achieve them.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
