Reporting Analyst – RAA – Adelaide (12 months contract)

About the role

  • Provide accurate, timely reporting and commercial insight to support business performance, in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Build and test Power BI reports and dashboards to enable automated, contemporary operational and performance reporting.
  • Work with Information Services to migrate insurance reporting views from the Insurance Datamart to the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ensuring data integrity and suitability.
  • Produce and distribute regular operational, budget and forecast reporting, identifying exceptions, trends and performance issues.
  • Maintain working relationships with stakeholders by providing clear updates, handing over completed reporting solutions, and supporting continuous improvement and capability development.

 

About you 

  • Experience supporting analysis and reporting across industries such as financial services or insurance with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into meaningful, practical outcomes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with practical experience in validating analytical outputs, cross checking comparable data, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and dashboards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to apply negotiation and conflict resolution techniques to build trust, align stakeholders, and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proven experience using Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft Excel, and SQL (essential) for the development of business intelligence reports, dashboards reporting and data visualisation with practical experience in data modelling and querying
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
