The primary purpose of this role is to report on Claims performance against budget/target and key performance indicators, identify trends, and conduct detailed performance analysis as part of the Claims Performance, Data and Insights team.

 

About the role

  • Developing business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Facilitating the transition to an automated dashboard reporting structure.
  • Reporting on company performance to budget and forecast, identifying trends and growth opportunities.
  • Meeting with key stakeholders to effectively communicate reporting developments and analysis of performance.
  • Developing, participating, coordinating, and driving reporting change initiatives to ensure successful implementation.
  • Assisting in providing data analysis services across claims, including data gathering, extraction, reporting, analysis, and summarizing findings for Claims improvement initiatives.
  • Liaising with Information Systems to transition business views to the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Building effective business relationships and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Contributing to effective working partnerships through information sharing and establishing an environment of support and no surprises.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to internal clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and legislation in the insurance.

  • Confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Advanced SQL skills, proficient in Power BI, and competent in other Microsoft Office products.
  • Passionate about helping the community and making a difference.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including explaining complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to organize workloads effectively while maintaining full ownership over tasks and managing them to completion.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
