Claims Reporting Analyst – RAA – Adelaide (12 months contract)

About the role

• Design and deliver clear, reliable Power BI dashboards and reports to support RAAI’s day‑to‑day and strategic reporting needs.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to transition reporting views from the Insurance Datamart to the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring data remains accurate, complete, and fit for purpose.
• Provide regular insights on business performance against budget and forecast, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders by clearly communicating reporting progress, sharing insights, and handing over completed visualisations with confidence.
• Promote continuous improvement, customer-focused service, and safe working practices while actively developing skills and supporting a positive team culture. 

About you 

• Practical experience analysing and reporting insurance, sales, marketing, or business operations data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel; basic capability in a statistical or query‑based programming language (e.g. R) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving ability, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to interpret complex data to support business decision‑making.
• General knowledge of insurance products, pricing systems, and procedures, as well as relevant industry codes, privacy principles, dispute resolution processes, and legislative requirements (with in‑house training provided).
