Senior Home Loss Adjustor - Insurance - Adelaide

About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of residential Home & Contents and Landlord claims, making sound technical decisions on liability, cost, quality, and timelines while meticulously documenting all actions.
  • Conduct onsite and desktop assessments to determine cause of loss and extent of damages, preparing thorough reports with clear recommendations.
  • Adhere to RAAI policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations, proactively identifying and reporting risks, and consistently maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with external partners and colleagues, offering technical guidance, supporting team success, and contributing through flexibility and collaboration.
  • Deliver compassionate, end-to-end claim support to members, ensuring professional, empathetic, and high-quality communication, while continuously enhancing skills, technical knowledge, and service delivery.

 

About you

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in claims operations, with extensive exposure to General Insurance Home Claims and a strong understanding of insurance practices, legislation, and industry codes.
  • Skilled in managing a portfolio of claims, delivering high-quality service and positive outcomes for customers.
  • Experience in the field of insurance loss adjustment; loss adjusting qualifications preferred or progress towards.
  • Holds a valid Australian Driver’s License
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast -changing digital world
