Team Leader Motor Claims Fulfilment Fast Track– RAA - Adelaide

About the role

  • Lead, coach, and manage team members to achieve service and performance targets, foster a positive team culture, and ensure clear direction, goal setting, and staff engagement. Support new staff integration and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks impacting members, resolve escalations and complaints, optimize resource utilization, and make recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and member services.
  • Monitor team performance to meet service, productivity, and quality standards, ensure compliance with procedures, provide SME support, and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and reduce reliance on SMEs.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and legal obligations, address quality issues, ensure compliance with policies, and use feedback and reports to improve team performance. Participate in business planning and promote a quality-driven culture.
  • Foster teamwork, deliver consistent communication, share key updates, and support initiatives to strengthen team culture and engagement.

 

About you 

  • Experienced operational leader with a proven track record in leading, coaching, and developing teams, such as claims consultants or similar roles, within a high-compliance environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a collaborative and empathetic approach to leadership and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, promote teamwork, and foster collaboration while ensuring positive stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as a reliable and trusted escalation point for team members, providing support and guidance when needed.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement, driving meaningful change, and confidently navigating challenges independently or as part of a team.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
