Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Adobe Campaign Classic (v7 & v8) Developer with solid experience in API-based integrations, CRM connectivity, journey orchestration, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) integration. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize high-performing marketing automation solutions while enabling scalable data flows and advanced personalization use cases.
Key Responsibilities
1. Adobe Campaign Classic (v7/v8) Development
- Develop and enhance workflows, targeting logic, and automation sequences in Adobe Campaign Classic v7 and v8.
- Configure and customize schemas, JavaScript activities, delivery templates, forms, and typologies.
- Implement cross-channel messaging across email, SMS, direct mail, and mobile push.
2. Integrations with CRM, CDP, and Enterprise Systems
- Design and implement API integrations (REST/SOAP) with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, SAP CRM) for real-time and batch data flows.
- Integrate Adobe Campaign with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to support real-time segmentation, audience activation, and identity resolution use cases.
- Build and manage automated ETL processes for data ingestion and distribution across marketing systems and enterprise databases.
- Work with JSON, XML, SFTP, webhooks, and server-to-server integrations.
3. Journey Orchestration & Use Case Implementation
- Translate business requirements into multi-step customer journeys, orchestration logic, and automated lifecycle programs.
- Develop end-to-end marketing use cases such as onboarding, engagement, retention, cross-sell, upsell, reactivation, and trigger-based journeys.
- Coordinate data signals, behavioral triggers, and decisioning logic for personalized customer experiences.
4. Data Modelling & Workflow Optimization
- Enhance and manage Adobe Campaign data schemas, relational data models, and operational tables.
- Build SQL-based enrichments, joins, and audience segmentation logic.
- Ensure data quality, deduplication, and governance across all workflows and automated jobs.
- Optimize workflows for performance and operational reliability.
5. Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with CRM teams, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams to align technical solutions with marketing strategies.
- Document solution designs, data flows, integration specs, and operational processes.
- Support platform upgrades from v7 to v8 and contribute to architectural improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign Classic v7 and/or v8.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, XML, HTML, and workflow logic inside ACC.
- Hands-on experience integrating Adobe Campaign with CRM platforms and external systems via APIs.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Adobe Real-Time CDP, Tealium, Segment) for real-time segmentation and identity stitching.
- Strong understanding of journey orchestration, lifecycle programs, and marketing automation use cases.
- Strong understanding and experience with security concepts, data privacy, and compliance related requirements (GDPR)
- Knowledge of batch/real-time data flows, ETL design, and data governance.
- Ability to debug technical issues across workflows, deliveries, and integrations.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud components (AEP, AJO, Analytics, Target) is a plus.
- Strong presentation and soft-skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in upgrading or migrating from ACC v7 to v8.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and scripting languages (Python/Shell).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
