Adobe Multi-Solution Architect – Principal Architect
Digital Marketing & Analytics | India Adobe Center of Excellence (Trivandrum / Pune)
Job Purpose & Role
The functional area “Digital Sales and Marketing” within AZ Technology steers and bundles all technical platforms and tools for digital marketing (frontend, websites, campaigns, data & analytics, customer portals and journeys). Tools and technologies are rolled out to Operating Entities (organizational units of Allianz across countries) while ensuring high efficiency and scalability.
The unit “Customer Data, Analytics and Marketing Execution” is looking for a Principal Multi-Solution Architect to be based in India, embedded with the DDM tribe delivery teams in Trivandrum / Pune. The role is the senior design authority anchoring the consolidation (Across Adove tool stacks) in India. Co-located with the majority of developers (DDM & CMS), the architect closes the architecture-to-execution gap providing real-time architectural guidance during build, accelerating issue resolution, and turning the India delivery team into a true Center of Excellence (Adobe) that owns the full delivery stack end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Product vision & roadmap: Define the product vision and roadmap for the Adobe Digital Marketing technology stack together with other Product Owners, and communicate it to stakeholders across the Allianz organization.
- Requirements translation: Break down complex business and technical strategies into consumable requirements for Adobe solution teams to execute, translating OE use cases into precise technical specifications.
- Multi-solution architecture: Define and industrialize the technical architecture of multiple solutions (standardized templates, blueprints and playbooks) fitting Allianz Group use cases, strategy and technical needs, to enable highly efficient and scalable rollouts.
- Multi-OE global rollout: Lead concurrent global rollouts of Adobe digital marketing solutions — including Real-Time CDP across multiple Operating Entities simultaneously (e.g. France, Slovakia, Care, Australia, UK and the forward pipeline), based on an industrialized blueprint and standardized project approach.
- Mandate acquisition: Run on-site architecture and discovery workshops with OE stakeholders and steering boards to shape solutions and secure AZ Technology implementation mandates.
- Executive engagement: Present tool, architecture and marketing-orchestration recommendations to OE top-management steering boards and convey complex topics in a simplified manner.
- Landscape assessment: Review current customer implementations, landscape and customizations, and define the steps to move towards the global blueprint.
- Delivery oversight: Oversee technical project delivery, closely manage project scope, and provide real-time architectural guidance to co-located delivery teams during build rather than via asynchronous handover.
- Cross-disciplinary leadership: Steer and manage cross-disciplinary teams across regions as product owner, ensuring smooth communication with both the customer and internal teams while managing high customer expectations.
- Strategic guidance: Provide strategic direction to customers for maximizing digital marketing effectiveness through data-driven insights.
Overarching Roles – India Digital Experience platform Center of Excellence (Adobe)
- Act as Adobe product coach and architectural governance lead across tribes.
- Serve as the India-level architectural Adobe guild lead and design authority for the DDM delivery hub.
- Drive strategic upskilling of India-based resources on Adobe Experience Platform / AEM and the broader Adobe stack the consolidation strategy depends on India developing deep expertise (AEM, Analytics, Campaign, CDP).
- Run structured upskilling programs and enablement bootcamps for DDM developers and OE marketing leaders across multiple countries.
- Build the reusable frameworks, accelerators and reference architectures the practice currently lacks, and convert AI / emerging-technology exploration into shipped, reusable assets.
- Mentor and establish a second-line architect bench within the first 12 months to reduce key-person dependency.
- Evolve the India delivery team from execution-only into a thought-leading Adobe Center of Excellence.
Key Requirements, Skills & Experiences
Experience
- Overall 15+ years, including a minimum of 10 years hands-on across the Adobe Experience Cloud / Adobe Experience Platform stack (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Real-Time CDP, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch / Web SDK).
- Senior professional-services role (Lead / Principal Technical or Solution Architect) leading delivery of large-scale Adobe-based web, marketing and analytics implementations across multiple geographies.
- Proven track record architecting and operating large-scale, multi-tenant Adobe Experience Cloud / Experience Platform installations at group scale (multi-country, multi-brand) a must.
- Demonstrated experience leading concurrent multi-OE rollouts (especially Real-Time CDP) and securing implementation mandates through stakeholder and steering-board engagement.
- Demonstrated enablement at scale designing and facilitating upskilling programs / bootcamps for distributed developers and marketing leaders across many countries.
- Proven ability to build and steer offshore delivery centers / Centers of Excellence, including establishing an architect bench.
- Experience implementing solutions across web content management, rich internet applications, web & social analytics, marketing automation, online ad targeting, content personalization and online user identification.
Technical & Hard Skills
- Demonstrated ability to define and enforce reference architectures, blueprints and best practices across the full software lifecycle product development, test automation, CI/CD, containerization, security and automated deployment.
- Knowledge of performance optimization: rendering, caching, time to first render and time to first interaction.
- Knowledge of current digital-marketing trends personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile, and data-driven optimization of experiences.
- Experience evaluating and applying AI / emerging technologies in a marketing context.
Languages & Technologies
- Deep, hands-on expertise across the Adobe stack Adobe Experience Manager (Sites & Assets), Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch and Adobe Web SDK — including end-to-end solution design and integration patterns.
- Expertise in HTML5, JavaScript, XML, Java, WCM, services-based architecture, REST, JSSP, web analytics and content targeting.
- Knowledge of modern web frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) is desirable.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS S3, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on delivery experience with Adobe Campaign (Classic and/or Standard) and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics including data modelling, reporting and applied ML/AI use cases on customer data.
Methodology & Soft Skills
- Strong agile mindset and command of agile processes (Scrum, Kanban), ceremonies and roles — able to fully own and drive a topic as product owner.
- Robust productization capability demonstrated industrialization / standardization of a technical solution and scaling it within a company.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills in English (additional languages desirable) able to convey complex topics simply to top management, customers and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills quick issue identification and knowing when to pull in internal resources.
- Excellent social and intercultural skills proven ability to lead and grow distributed architect / developer teams across countries.
- Experience managing diverse stakeholders inside and outside the organization with partly deviating interests.
- Solid business acumen able to define KPIs / metrics jointly with the customer to measure success of technical implementations.
- Experience as a consulting manager or practice lead in a large consulting / SI organization, with program-management exposure to large digitization and transformation programs.
Good to have Having a basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.Familiarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.Basic knowledge or experience with AI tools will be beneficial.Exposure to AI tools, even at a basic level, is a value-add.A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
