Position Summary:

The Key User of Business Partner and Product Configuration is placed within our Operations Steering and Transformation division. The role is a responsible for overseeing the configuration and customization of IT systems and products for each line of business and country within the organization. The position involves the efficient and accurate business partner and product configuration incl. maintenance, collaboration with various departments of Allianz Partners and ensuring alignment with customer requirements. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and accuracy. Primary objectives include next to the aforementioned configuration and customization of IT systems and products the creation of a deep collective business understanding across all line of businesses of Allianz Partners in order to translate this understanding in the most efficient way to ABS, as well as conducting a sales training of existing possibilities as orientation for the new business. In addition, the understanding of the AS-IS processes and the definition of the most efficient (simplified and harmonized) SHOULD-BE processes including their implementation and documentation is an integral part of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner Configuration & Maintenance
    Manage master data, agreements, and commission schemes.
  • Product Configuration & Maintenance
    Maintain product data, including Master Contracts and Open Policies.
  • Beneficiary Data Management
    Ensure accurate technical upload of beneficiary data and provide support as needed.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    Participate in UAT processes, test epics and bug fixes, and handle issue resolution.
  • Optimization & Improvement
    Identify and address system improvements through IT tickets and change requests.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    Work closely with various departments to align configuration processes with organizational goals.
  • Establish Configuration Guidelines
    Help define and implement configuration standards and ensure compliance.
  • Documentation
    Create and maintain detailed documentation for configuration processes and system capabilities.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing
    Deliver training to internal teams on configuration procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Customer Collaboration
    Engage with internal and external customers to understand and translate business needs into effective solutions.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail,
  • Experience with IT system configuration and/or product customization,
  • Ability to analyse and optimize business processes (AS-IS vs. SHOULD-BE),
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, international environment,
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills,
  • Experience in training and supporting teams,
  • Fluency in English.
