Health Claims Process Leader

Job summary
We are seeking a strong and experienced Process Lead / Team Leader to manage the reimbursement claims handling team for group health insurance policies. The role has end‑to‑end ownership of group reimbursement claims operations, ensuring service quality, productivity, compliance with policy terms, and adherence to SLAs and client agreements. The Process Lead / Team Leader plays a key role in people leadership, operational performance, stakeholder coordination, and continuous process improvement, supporting a large and strategically important group health portfolio.

Qualifications & experience
- University degree in business administration, insurance, finance, healthcare management, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in health insurance or TPA claims operations
- Proven experience in group health insurance reimbursement claims handling
- Previous experience as a claims supervisor, process lead, or team leader is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the Greek health insurance and healthcare market is an advantage

- Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
- High level of organization, ownership, and accountability
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and operational pressure
- Customer‑ and quality‑focused mindset
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English
- Very good command of MS Office and claims management systems
- AI literacy (Gen AI, CoPilot etc) and familiarity with data insights to support operational efficiency
Preferred (optional)
- Experience in a TPA environment
- Experience managing large‑scale group health portfolios
- Exposure to audits, quality frameworks, or operational transformation initiatives
