Allianz Partners is strengthening its compliance capabilities at a critical time of growth and regulatory change. This role was created to support the Central Compliance Function in carrying out compliance quality assurance activities, in accordance with internal and external requirements across all entities.
This is a results-oriented compliance role. The emphasis is on contributing to a variety of tasks related to compliance governance and compliance quality assurance, including some or all of the following: monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of business function processes for performing guidance and/or governance tasks; analyzing operational incidents to identify potential compliance risks and prevent non-compliance with external requirements and/or internal corporate rules; conducting risk assessment procedures; preparing compliance reports; and discovering innovative ways to improve the compliance management system.
You will work closely with international managers across various business lines and jurisdictions, and will be expected to provide tailored communications to stakeholders and deliver tangible results.
Reporting functionally to the Compliance Governance Manager at Allianz Partners, you will be part of a virtual international team—taking into account local regulations, Allianz Partners’ internal rules, and Allianz Group requirements.
Your main responsibilities are:
Identify emerging risks and trends and monitor mitigation actions in accordance with Allianz Partners’ compliance programs.
Support compliance-related processes and quality assurance activities.
Interact with first-line-of-defense representatives and colleagues in related functions as needed, communicating compliance requirements clearly, reliably, and pragmatically.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and trends
Identify potential risks based on business data and operational incidents
Develop and maintain a dashboard to regularly analyze KPIs and KRIs
Design, document, and visualize processes related to compliance quality assurance.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of experience in Compliance processes, Data analysis and dashboard reporting, Process management, Regulatory/ Legal environment.
- Prior experience of leading quality and compliance projects in Regulatory Compliance will be added advantage.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Process design and mapping and/or OPEX certified (or equal qualification).
- Excellence in MS Office, PowerBI, MS Forms, Visio, SharePoint lists
- Client service mentality and problem-solution mindset, comfortable in interactions with various seniority levels.
- High attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, focus on quality and deadlines. Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines.
- Experience working in international, matrixed environments and collaborating across geographies.
- A relevant university degree (e.g. Law, Finance, Economics or similar) and/or equivalent professional experience; compliance certification (e.g. ICA) is an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
