Accounting & Reporting Governance Manager Benelux

We are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Governance Manager to oversee the financial governance and reporting activities for our entities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In this international role, you will combine accounting expertise, financial analysis, stakeholder management and process improvement to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance across the region.
You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Controlling and global stakeholders, contributing to both business performance and transformation initiatives.
What you will do
- Manage statutory and group financial reporting for the Netherlands and Belgium entities
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
- Monitor balance sheet and P&L accuracy, driving high-quality reconciliations and controls
- Coordinate external and internal audits
- Partner with local and global stakeholders across Finance and Operations
- Support process improvements, automation and digital finance initiatives
- Provide financial insights and explain key reporting topics to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to governance, risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives
What you bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Economics
- Experience in accounting, reporting or financial governance
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (Netherlands and/or Belgium)
- Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills
- Insurance industry experience is a plus
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and Dutch
