Overall Objectives of Job

As a Full Stack Lead, you will be a key technical leader responsible for guiding development teams, architecting scalable enterprise solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of complex web applications. While leveraging emerging GenAI capabilities where appropriate, your primary focus will be on technical leadership, architectural excellence, and team enablement.

 

  • Technical Leadership & Team Enablement (30%)
    • Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
    • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and establish coding standards across the team
    • Drive technical decision-making and resolve complex technical challenges
    • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure effective sprint planning and execution
  • Solution Architecture & Design (25%)
    • Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications that align with business requirements and enterprise standards
    • Create and maintain architecture artifacts including system diagrams, and technical specifications
    • Architect seamless integration with existing enterprise systems APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
    • Address technical debt and drive modernization initiatives
  • Development & Best Practices Implementation (20%)
    • Hands-on development of critical components and proof-of-concepts to validate architectural decisions
    • Define and implement best practices for software development
    • Ensure application responsiveness, security, and scalability across platforms and devices
    • Drive adoption of engineering excellence standards across the team
  •  GenAI Integration & Innovation (10%)
    • Identify opportunities to integrate GenAI capabilities (e.g., LLMs, AI-assisted development tools)
    • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to operationalize GenAI features from prototype to production
    • Stay informed on GenAI trends and evaluate their applicability for enhancing developer productivity and user experiences
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication (10%)
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Security) to gather requirements and ensure alignment
    • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing (5%)
    • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation
    • Lead knowledge sharing initiatives including tech talks, CoP, and internal training sessions
    • Document architectural decisions and maintain decision logs for auditability

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills

 

Core Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in solution architecture and design.
    • 7+ years of total industry experience in technology roles spanning software engineering, data science, or enterprise architecture. 
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in enterprise architecture practices
    • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API design, and middleware (e.g., Kafka, REST/gRPC). 
    • Hands-on experience preferred in designing and building solutions in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
    • Experience working in cloud native architecture like docker, k8s.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Have worked in Agile software development framework (e.g. Scrum) and tools (e.g. JIRA)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Exposure:
    • Domain expertise In Insurance industry
    • Expertise in GenAI tools and frameworks: Model understanding & fine-tuning (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API), Long term and short term memory management - Vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus), orchestration tools and MLOps pipelines. 
    • Experience integrating GenAI with legacy systems (ERP, CRM), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data stacks (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake). 
  • Architecture Frameworks:
    • Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF)
  • Key Differentiators:

    • Experience designing multi-tenant GenAI platforms for large enterprises. 
           Published thought leadership (blogs, whitepapers) or contributions to open-source projects.
