About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Account Management to serve as a critical liaison between Allianz Technology and our Operating Entities (OEs). This role combines strategic customer relationship management with operational excellence in financial management and IT service delivery.
As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will drive customer satisfaction, manage complex financial operations, and ensure seamless delivery of IT services while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management
- Act as primary liaison between Allianz Technology and Operating Entities
- Manage customer expectations through proactive communication and relationship building
- Drive customer-centric initiatives and advocate for customer interests
- Handle customer requests, escalations, and dispute resolution with diplomacy
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and ensure transparency on IT spend
- Track customer satisfaction through NPS processes and coordinate improvement activities
- Communicate Allianz Technology strategy, service updates, and pricing & benchmarking to OEs
- Validates and processes additional customer reporting requests based on ITSOA/contractual agreements, coordinating strategic requests and supporting audit trail compliance
- Establishes institutional meetings to ensure transparency on OE IT spend with Allianz Technology IT Services
2. Financial Management & Analysis
- Drive revenue planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for OE IT spending within the CFO's governance framework
- Monitor and analyze OE IT spend regularly to support cost optimization and identify savings
- Ensure alignment between OE PD IT budget and Allianz Technology PD budget
- Manage monthly forecasting and trigger additional demand processes as required
- Communicate true-up/true-down activities based on cost-plus principle, with governance by CFO
- Provide ad-hoc commercial and financial data reporting
- Resolve invoicing queries and ensure billing accuracy
3. Invoicing
Quote Approvals:
- Approve quotes and manage customer approvals in Global Request Management (GRM), ensuring quote correctness
- Act as gatekeeper of the OEs by validating correctness of quotes before approval
Support Cash Collection / Dispute Resolution:
- Support accounts receivable team in resolving open questions and drive dispute resolution with customers
- Manage dispute resolution efficiently, aligning with Head of IT and IT delivery function for escalations
4. Contracting
- Coordinate the contracting process between OEs and Allianz Technology
- Coordinate Order Agreement processes ensuring quality and compliance
- Involve central functions (CCM, Legal) and IT delivery for legal guidance and contractual inputs
- Prepare contract status reports using SAP, ServiceNow, and Excel; maintain regular OE alignments and follow-ups on signature status
- Ensure updated Operational Manual and compliance with MSA and ITSOA requirements
5. IT Demand Management
- Understand and map customer IT requirements for accurate quotations
- Validate IT demand and ensure alignment with budget expectations and Allianz Group IT strategy
- Dispatch demand within the Global Request Management Process (GRM)
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency

Education Qualification & Experience Required
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance & Accounting or related field
- Relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, SAP) are advantageous
- 5-9 Years of experience in financial domain with Order to Cash (O2C) process exposure
- Proven track record in account management and customer relationship management
- Experience in IT services or financial services industry preferred
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional stakeholder management
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAP, ServiceNow, Excel, and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
- Knowledge of billing processes, contract management, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and concepts with AI knowledge.
