What you do
The eCommerce Manager NZ is integral to driving online Travel Insurance Sales in the New Zealand market for Allianz Travel via allianztravel.co.nz.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Digital Sales, this role is responsible for online sales and marketing, translating global strategies into local initiatives, managing marketing budgets, enhancing customer experience, and rolling out key digital sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing Planning: Manage marketing budgets, define campaign goals, develop and implement go-to-market strategies, partner with media and creative agencies, to drive sales volumes for travel insurance in New Zealand.
- Digital Sales Growth: Management of allianztravel.co.nz website for sales optimisation including content optimisations. Exploring new sales opportunities and managing ongoing partnerships. Improving content marketing strategies and customer interaction touch points.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Providing customer market and competitive analysis ongoing. Adapt regional launch strategies, ensure seamless product launches, and tailor product offerings to local customer needs.
- Performance Management & Data-Driven Insights: Monitor KPIs, ecommerce performance, leverage data analytics and visualization tools to present insights to stakeholders, and conduct deep dive reviews.
What you bring
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience with primary focus on acquisition and retention programs
- Experience working with a content management system (e.g. Abobe Experience Manager), as well as content development and publishing
- Excellent organizational, project management and interpersonal skills (including communication & stakeholder management)
- Creative, yet metrics and analytics driven – ability to translate analytical results into an action plan
- Team player with strong cross-functional skills
- Autonomous, Self-motivated and Result-oriented
- A curious, entrepreneurial spirit and interest in continuous learning, as well as a passion for coming up with creative solutions
- Passionate about leveraging technology to power the customer experience.
- Experience in insurance or financial services a plus
- Experience in a multi-cultural work environment a plus
