What you do
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements across various business areas, including underwriting, claims, finance, sales, and IT.
- Support audits in line with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards), regulatory requirements, and Allianz Group policies and functional rules.
- Participate in assessing internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks, helping identify gaps and propose improvements.
- Contribute to data-driven audits by preparing and analyzing information using available tools.
- Draft clear and concise working papers and assist in preparing audit reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to address audit observations and track remediation progress.
- Take part in initiatives to improve audit processes, including digitalization and methodology enhancements.
What you bring
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, ACCA) or progress toward them is an advantage.
Experience
- Up to 2 years of experience in internal/external auditing, risk management, or related fields.
- Exposure to financial services, insurance, or banking sectors is a plus.
- Interest in IT audits, cybersecurity, or data analytics is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of audit principles and risk assessment techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of audit or analytics tools (e.g., TeamMate, PowerBI) is a plus.
