About the Job

If you are a hands-on engineer who enjoys working close to development teams and ensuring that modern tooling runs reliably at enterprise scale, this role might be a great fit for you.

As an AI Delivery & Platform Engineer at Allianz Technology, you will be responsible for the technical enablement, stability, and integration of AI‑assisted development tooling within BMP delivery teams. Your focus will be on ensuring that tools such as Claude Code are correctly configured, securely integrated, and consistently operated across Allianz Technology’s development environments.

What You Do

Configure, maintain, and operate AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
Ensure correct integration of AI tooling with source code repositories, existing codebases, and testing frameworks.
Integrate AI tooling into development environments and CI/CD pipelines in line with Allianz Technology engineering standards.
Manage tooling configuration, upgrades, and technical standards.
Enable delivery teams to use AI‑assisted development tools effectively.
Act as the first technical escalation point for AI tooling issues.
Troubleshoot failures, inconsistencies, and integration problems across environments.
Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operation of AI tooling in collaboration with DevOps and platform teams.

What You Bring

Strong software engineering background.
Hands‑on experience with development tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise development environments.
Experience working with AZ Forge as part of delivery or rollout pipelines.
Practical experience configuring and operating Claude Code or comparable AI‑assisted development tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently as a technical specialist.
Good communication skills in English.
