About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Expert Developer specializing in application interfaces, flows, and connectors to join the BAM ESB API Squad.

This role focuses on providing RUN support and expertise in tools such as Apigee, zOS Connect, and API development.

You will work as part of a skilled squad of experts and collaborate across different tribes to share your technical knowledge and provide support.


 

What You Do

  • Apigee Development: Design, implement, and manage APIs using Apigee.

  • API Development Support: Assist in API design, development, and integration.

  • zOS Connect Development: Develop connectors for IBM z/OS mainframe systems.

  • RUN & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the APIs and related tools.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience in API Exhibition – understanding how to expose and manage APIs.

  • Expertise in securing APIs using Apigee.

  • Strong knowledge in zOS Connect development.

  • Ability to ensure reliable RUN operations.

  • Provide effective tool support across platforms.

  • Technical proficiency in:

    • zOS Connect

    • Security best practices

    • Macro COBOL

    • XL Release

    • XL Deploy

    • Jira

    • Confluence

    • ServiceNow

  • Fluent in both English and French.

  • Comfortable working in Agile (Kanban) environments.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in API / Apigee / zOS Connect development and support

  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use
