About the Job
As a Agile Master(AM) you will act as a servant leader to one or more Agile teams, normally within a wider scaled agile model. The AM is focused on ensuring that Agile teams, as well as the wider organization, align with Agile values and principles.
You'll lead by example, live and practice Agile values and principles, you'll be accountable for the teams’ effectiveness, coaching teams to focus on quality, velocity and delivery of value. You'll support the Product Owners by coaching them to improve their product backlog management techniques and ensure clarity of product and scrum goals for the developers.
What you do
- Serve as an ambassador for agile working, supporting the transfer of know-how into the organization and specialist areas, and driving the further development of the agile environment.
- Provide methodical support for agile teams in their operational work, facilitating them to deliver prioritized outcomes using chosen agile methods and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Support employees in developing agile roles within skill teams, managing product backlogs, and working to increase team throughput.
- Drive the further development and flexibilization of the agile development process, effectively working with Product Owners, Cluster POs, Tribe Leads, and Chapter Leads to address skill gaps.
- Demonstrate excellent problem and conflict resolution skills, along with empathic and appreciative communication skills.
- Exhibit independent and results-oriented working style, coupled with constructive and entrepreneurial thinking, confident demeanor, persuasiveness, and the ability to generate enthusiasm across all company levels.
- Set up and encourage the use of Agile tooling to enable teams to thrive and collaborate effectively, regardless of their location.
What you bring
- Agile certification from organizations like IC Agile, Scrum.org, ScrumAlliance.org, or SAFe, with at least 5 years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery roles within software development/operations environments.
- Experience in agile delivery within compliance-driven environments, with basic knowledge of IT Security services, such as Identity & Access Management or Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to support high-quality audit trails and documentation, with extensive experience scaling Lean Agile practices and leading virtual teams.
- Demonstrable experience as a servant leader for large cross-functional teams, skilled in resolving complex issues, providing constructive feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Proactive in driving topics forward, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and a positive attitude paired with curiosity and customer-centricity.
- Strong leadership, innovative thinking, and change management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Ability to apply Agile principles and practices diligently, ensuring effective team collaboration and delivery.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
