We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Information Security and Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join our growing and diverse consulting team. In this senior role, you will advise Allianz organizations globally on strengthening their cybersecurity posture, driving IAM maturity, and supporting digital resilience initiatives across complex environments.
Our team focuses on:
- Designing and implementing modern information security frameworks aligned to global standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, DORA, EIOPA guidelines, etc.)
- Building and enhancing Identity & Access Management capabilities, including governance, lifecycle processes, privileged access, and Zero Trust strategies
- Supporting entities in risk reduction, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance across the Allianz Group
What you do
- Deliver professional consulting services for our clients within Allianz OEs, ensuring strategic impact and measurable outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Allianz entities on information security and IAM strategy, architecture, and operating models.
- Strengthen clients’ cybersecurity posture by identifying risks, designing mitigation plans, and guiding entities toward digital resilience and regulatory compliance.
- Drive the development and implementation of IAM governance, processes, and controls, including identity lifecycle management, authentication models, authorization concepts, and privileged access management.
- Assess and enhance IS and IAM control frameworks, identify gaps, and support stakeholders in implementing effective remediation plans.
- Interpret emerging security regulations, group policies, and industry requirements, translating them into actionable procedures and operational guidance.
- Lead or co-lead consulting engagements, manage multi-stakeholder environments, and ensure high‑quality delivery of recommendations and implementation support.
- Mentor junior consultants, contribute to building internal expertise, and contribute to service offering in IS and IAM.
- Collaborate closely with Allianz Consulting experts to deliver impactful solutions within global, cross-functional programs.
- Contribute to business development, including sales pitches and internal consulting service enhancement.
- Get involved in various Allianz Consulting initiatives, such as social projects, processes improvement, research, trainings, among others.
What you bring
Key requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical field. Business backgrounds with strong security experience are also welcome.
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience in Information Security and/or IAM, ideally in consulting or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- IAM governance, identity lifecycle, role & access models
- Authentication & authorization mechanisms (SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC, ABAC, Zero Trust)
- Security controls, risk frameworks, and regulatory environments (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, DORA)
- Solid experience with IT/IS audit, cyber risk management, access control assessments, or security architecture reviews.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. German would be a plus.
- Strong stakeholder‑management capabilities and the ability to influence at different organizational levels.
- Excellence in presentation and communication, with strength in facilitation, sales, and conflict management
- High degree of proactivity, ownership, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with proven experience turning complex issues into actionable outcomes.
- Ability to lead workstreams and deliver under pressure in a fast‑changing environment.
- Strong team player with assertiveness and professional maturity.
Desired requirements:
- Experience in insurance or financial services regulation (e.g., DORA, EIOPA, BaFin, ECB).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, or IAM‑related certifications.
- International work experience.
