Data Privacy Intern (m/f/d)

About the Job

We are looking for a Data Privacy Intern to support our data protection and compliance activities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student with a background in Law and a Master’s degree related to IT and data protection, who is interested in building a career in data privacy, compliance and technology-related law.

No prior work experience is required. We are looking for motivated candidates with a strong interest in data privacy, regulatory compliance and IT-related legal topics.

What you do

• Assist with data protection and compliance activities in line with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR) as well as supporting the preparation and maintenance of privacy and compliance documentation.
• Help with records of processing activities (RoPA) and internal compliance processes and support with Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Assist in the review of privacy policies, notices and internal procedures as well as supporting data privacy awareness and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and business teams on privacy and compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research related to data protection, IT law and compliance requirements.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Master’s degree related to IT, data protection, or technology law (completed or in progress).
• Fluency in English (mandatory) — written and spoken, Spanish is a plus.
• Strong interest in data privacy, compliance, and technology-related legal topics.
• Basic understanding of GDPR, EU AI Act and general data protection principles.
• Interest in global privacy regulations.
• Strong analytical, research and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
