Digital Resilience Officer
BARCELONA, B, ES, 08014
About the job
Based in Barcelona and part of Allianz Technology SL, you will own and drive our digital resilience agenda—proactively and independently—across cyber and operational resilience to ensure preparedness, continuity, and rapid recovery. Acting as the day-to-day owner of the role, you will align controls and practices to industry frameworks and EU regulations (e.g., DORA), orchestrate resilience testing and exercises, and provide clear risk and resilience reporting to governance forums.
You will collaborate with Security, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Procurement, and People & Culture to maintain an integrated, risk-informed view of critical services, dependencies, and third parties. This role suits a proactive professional with 2 years of experience who takes initiative, drives outcomes, and “runs with the role” with minimal supervision.
What You Do
- Own and evolve the digital resilience framework (policies, standards, control library), mapping to DORA and recognized frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/22301, ITIL/ITSCM).
- Coordinate threat and risk assessments, business impact analyses, and criticality/dependency mapping across services and third parties.
- Plan and execute resilience testing (tabletop exercises, disaster recovery tests, cyber crisis simulations) and track remediation through closure.
- Maintain and improve recovery strategies and documentation (RTO/RPO, recovery playbooks, runbooks) aligned with BCP/DR practices.
- Monitor and report resilience KPIs/KRIs; prepare dashboards and materials for risk/governance committees, highlighting trends, gaps, and corrective actions.
- Strengthen incident and crisis response readiness (playbooks, escalation paths, post-incident reviews) to reduce mean time to recover.
- Oversee third-party and supplier resilience (due diligence, contractual requirements, exit plans), working with Procurement and Vendor Management.
- Ensure audit readiness and maintain evidence repositories; support internal/external audits and regulatory reviews.
What You Bring
- 4- 5 years of experience in cyber/IT risk, operational resilience, IT service continuity, or a related governance function.
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership; able to work independently and “run with the role” with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with DORA and with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/22301, and ITIL/ITSCM; understanding of BCP/DR practices.
- Hands-on exposure to incident/crisis exercises, DR/BCP testing, or risk assessments with documented remediation follow-up.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency with Excel and at least one visualization or GRC/tooling environment (e.g., Power BI/Tableau, ServiceNow, Jira).
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, international settings; fluency in English and Spanish.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
What we offer
- We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
- We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
- From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.
- Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.
