Enterprise Integration Architect (m/f/d)

About the Job 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect specializing in Integration Architecture to join our Enterprise Architecture team. This role is focused on ensuring seamless integration of various systems and solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

What you do

• Develop and implement robust integration strategies to ensure smooth data flow and system interoperability across the organization, while maintaining integration architecture framework, standards, and best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze their requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring security schemes and compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks for architectural consistency and quality in integration practices, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend integration tools and technologies that align with organizational needs and goals, demonstrating good judgment in optimizing architecture activities across company needs and technological realities.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and integration patterns, applying them to improve existing systems through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular reports on integration projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with various IT stakeholders, such as Business Analysts, program managers, Developers, Technical Leads, and IT Architects, to understand their concerns and requirements, delivering robust, cost-efficient, and timely solutions for successful implementations.

What you bring

• Experience using integration tools and platforms, including event-driven tools like Apache Kafka or AWS MQ, and API-driven tools like Apigee, Istio/Envoy, or AWS API Gateway, with expertise in authentication and access control using API frameworks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level software design patterns, integration patterns, approaches, and data structures, with expertise in architecting solutions for non-functional requirements such as security, performance, availability, and scalability.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based services like Kubernetes, Fargate, EC2, and familiarity with relevant cloud-based terminology and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and iterative project methodologies and practices, with strong presentation and communication skills.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in software development involving integration platforms and tools, with a minimum of 5 years as an Integration Architect.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, M.Sc., M.S., or MBA in Systems, IT, Insurance, or Finance.
