Role overview

We are looking for an Expert Business Analyst (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location: Allianz Services, Barcelona. The Expert Business Analyst (BA) plays a pivotal role in the early and most strategic phases of the BMP rollout. Acting as a transformation catalyst, the Expert BA ensures clarity, alignment, and readiness across business and IT streams. This role provides expert guidance on requirements engineering, process modelling, and stakeholder alignment, enabling delivery readiness for multiple product teams and markets.
Based in Barcelona, the Expert BA will support global BMP delivery while collaborating closely with Product Owners, architects, technical teams, and local Operating Entities.

 

What you do:

  • Contribute to Sprint 0 by defining requirements, scope, and bundles
  • Lead end‑to‑end process mapping and impact assessments
  • Facilitate workshops with global and local stakeholders to gather insights and validate requirements
  • Translate business needs into structured, clear, and validated requirements
  • Support Product Owners in shaping and prioritizing the product backlog
  • Drive early testing readiness, including functional testing scenarios and data definitions
  • Produce high‑quality documentation (business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)
  • Use Jira to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure milestone delivery
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless rollout preparation for new OEs
  • Align global BMP standards with local market needs and constraints
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps early in the delivery lifecycle
  • Coach and support other Business Analysts to elevate team capability
  • Contribute to reusable process maps, templates, and best‑practice frameworks
  • Ensure effective communication across business, IT, and management layers
  • Support overall delivery governance by providing clarity, documentation, and alignment
  • Travel to Operating Entities and rollout locations when required to support workshops, stakeholder alignment, and discovery activities

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation or system delivery programs
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with diverse stakeholder groups (Product Managers, PO, Architects, IT teams, demanding OEs)
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance Sales processes, CRM capabilities, or large-scale sales platform rollouts
  • Proven experience in Sprint 0 or early-phase delivery setup
  • Advanced skills in BPMN/process modelling, requirements engineering, and workshop facilitation
  • Ability to balance global standards with local market realities
  • Excellent communication skills in English (professional fluency)
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and process visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Miro)
  • Strong strategic mindset, proactive approach, and ability to operate independently
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, and CI/CD environments
  • Experience in BMP Sales or similar Allianz platforms
  • Previous experience in global/multi-country CRM or Sales solution rollouts
  • Background in coaching or mentoring junior analysts
