As Tribe Digital Service Model (DSM), we use and expand digital assets to handle all our customers' service requests simply, transparently and conveniently. As a Fullstack Developer, you will focus on implementing small, complex features and enhancing existing functionalities in both the backend and frontend. Your daily work will involve writing efficient code and creating realistic unit tests to ensure the quality and stability of the application. Additionally, DevOps activities are part of your responsibilities.
What you do
- Develop and implement features while adhering to architectural and programming principles to enhance application functionality.
- Ensure code quality through robust and clean coding practices and the four-eyes principle for approval.
- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) to create unit and integration tests, achieving at least 80% test coverage in SonarQube.
- Identify and resolve bugs and IPM tickets to maintain application stability.
- Maintain and update technical documentation in both German and English.
- Analyze business requirements and user stories to develop concepts in collaboration with the team.
- Create flexible and reusable concepts to support the product vision of CSIM and SOFA.
- Apply business understanding to make informed decisions and develop test cases.
- Engage in DevOps activities to improve CI/CD pipelines and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
What you bring
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
- Experience with testing tools such as Cypress and Junit 4/5, and quality assurance using SonarQube.
- Familiarity with version control using Git and API services like REST/RESTful API and OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of web security protocols and practices (HTTPS/SSL, Certificates, OAuth).
- Experience with cloud environments, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins and monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
- Understanding of data streaming and messaging with Kafka, and experience with MongoDB databases.
- Basic insurance knowledge, security, and data protection understanding, and awareness of regulatory requirements.
- Experience in agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and their practical use
- 3-5 years of professional relevant experience.
