The Platform Engineering unit of the COO pillar is responsible for definition of the organization wide software development target platform and the process management of the global service delivery processes in Allianz Technology.
Job Description
As a Global Process Manager for Deploy & Release management within Solution Delivery processes (R2D) , you are responsible for the design & documentation and for the general management of the global Deployment Management and Release Management processes being part of R2D process landscape. Also for setting the general strategy of these company-wide processes.
As responsible for the operational management of the processes, you ensure that the processes are optimally implemented in line with related standards, track the performance and implement measures to support the continual process improvement to enable effective and efficient service delivery.
Key responsibilities
• Implement relevant process changes (documentation and modeling in set tools)
• Ensure that changes to processes are aligned with relevant stakeholders
• Inform stakeholders about relevant updates (process, tooling, training etc.).
• Ensure integration between a specific process and other interfacing processes
• Ensure the processes (Standards, procedures and service levels) are being followed by relevant practitioners
• Establish measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
• Ensure support to governance related activities such as audit, risk and compliance
• Ensure that the Process and Governance Structure is fit-for-purpose
• Act as focal point for process including support of stakeholders (e.g. data, service, applications and other processes)
• Organize / attend meetings according to the process and governance structure
• Ensure and manage compliance towards group requirements
• Ensure and manage external regulatory requirements where necessary
• Ensure that proper training is provided towards stakeholders
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional software development projects and/or experience as team leader for software development teams
• Expertise in IT Process Management, Process Architecture and Process Design
• Practical experience in managing Deployment and Release management processes
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodology, technical processes and modern CI/CD practices
• Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools (specifically Safe, Kanban, Jira)
• Project experience with cloud technologies and integration of the same in IT landscapes
• Practical experience as a software developer not mandatory but a big plus
• Keywords like Java, SonarQube, SAST/DAST, Selenium, SQL, AWS, Container, Kubernetes, Helm are familiar to you
• Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information
• Capability to take up responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team
• Stakeholder management and communication skills (including fluency in English)
• University degree in computer sciences
• Experience in insurance sector is a plu
