About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Rewards & Performance Senior Expert to join our Global Performance & Reward Team in the People Function.
As a senior member of this team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our global performance management, compensation planning, global mobility and employee rewards and recognition strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects and collaborate with professionals across the organization.
What you do
- Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies, including compensation structures, benefits packages, and incentive schemes and lead the evaluation and enhancement of performance management processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Assist with the preparation of the Allianz Technology People Committee, including the annual performance and compensation review cycle as well as ongoing support related to all governance related topics whilst also supporting the administration of the Allianz Group wide Allianz Equity Incentive (AEI) plan.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analyze salary benchmarking data to maintain competitive compensation practices, equal pay standards and to stay abreast with market trends.
- Explore new tools and practices to enhance efficiency in the Rewards & Performance function (e.g. GenAI, automation)and participate in / lead ad hoc projects, perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings to senior management.
- Harmonize compensation and performance management processes across all global locations, ensuring consistency and fairness and compliance to our global frameworks and standards. Create and deliver communication materials related to total rewards, , and performance management processes.
- Provide expert guidance and support to HR business partners and senior leadership on all matters related to rewards and performance management. Partner with the Remuneration Committee, and external advisors on executive pay decisions, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group remuneration policy, regulatory, and shareholder expectations.
- Participate in the governance agenda for rewards and performance, including but not limited to the preparation of remuneration reports, disclosures and policy documentation in line with regulatory and statutory requirements.
What you bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in rewards, compensation and performance management or data analytics within a global organization. Proven experience in developing and implementing global policies and systems.
- Strong analytical skills (and advanced level MS Excel skills) with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to use good judgment, be discreet and highly trustworthy, and demonstrate ethical conduct along with high level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated experience designing and administering executive compensation programs (STI/LTI, deferred compensation, share-based plans) within a regulated, listed, or financial services environment. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and consultative skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in a global setting.
- Prior exposure to People/Remuneration/Nomination Committee processes, including preparing committee materials, drafting recommendations and engaging with senior stakeholders and Board members. Solid understanding of remuneration governance frameworks and applicable and experience preparing disclosures and remuneration reports.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); proficiency in German or Spanish is considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge in AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
