Job role
Responsible for supporting IT budget planning and reporting processes using SAP IP, ensuring data quality, tool performance, and continuous process improvement. The role includes collaboration with internal stakeholders to analyze IT spend and contribute to financial steering and decision-making.
What you do
- Support the execution of the Group IT spend management process via SAP IP.
- Coordinate run and change activities related to SAP IP, ensuring proper alignment with AZ Tech development processes.
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new target solutions for the SAP IP application.
- Deliver comprehensive analysis of IT Spend and Cost data extracted from SAP IP.
- Monitor and track Group IT spend, identifying and analysing critical topics (e.g., financials, timeline, scope), and recommending appropriate measures to support issue resolution.
- Facilitate collaboration between Operating Entities (or regions), Allianz SE, and AZ Technology.
- Drive continuous improvement of Group IT spend management processes (e.g., definitions, data provisioning, quality reviews).
- Prepare and deliver training and information materials to support SAP IP usage across entitie
What you bring
- Exceptional academic background in IT, Economics or Business Administration (diploma or master’s degree)
- Excellent knowledge of SAP solutions
- Theoretical as well as practical experience in one of the main project management frameworks ideally with a certification (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, and/or SAFe)
- Excellent MS-Office skills in particular MS Excel and MS Power Point
Excellent Experience with SAP Integrated Planning as well as ServiceNow - VBA and PowerBI skills a plus
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken), additional languages a plus
- More than 10-years work experience in Operations and IT in the financial industry or consulting
Good understanding of the insurance industry and experience in international project management (waterfall as well as agile set-up) within large and complex IT projects (system implementation/ integration programs, IT transformation) - Good understanding of Operations and IT and their interrelation with business
- Excellent understanding of financial and operational steering, benefits reporting and their impacts
- Excellent knowledge regarding IT planning/reporting applications as SAP or Wave
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial topics for a non-finance audience
- Highly self-driven and proactive mindset
- Business maturity and ability to interact effectively senior stakeholders
- Strong sense of cooperation and ability to work toward team success
- Willingness to continuously learn and curiosity
- Willingness to challenge oneself and counterparties to strive for continuous improvement
