About the Job 

 

As part of the recent Identity Access Management Target Operating Model (IAM TOM) implemented by Allianz Technology, the setup of the new IAM Governance & Business Operations function is now to be operationalized. As Allianz Technology transformation progresses and IAM processes are set up, accelerating the setup for IAM Governance & Business Operations is essential. Therefore, AZ Technology is searching for new motivated team players to work along with the Head of IAM Governance & Business Operations and team in ensuring global process excellence, defining & improving IAM processes aligned with the Target Operating Model, overseeing compliance, adoption, and enforcement across regions and teams.

 

Additionally, this position is key to work alongside with the Head of IAM Governance & Business Operations to drive strategic direction, operational efficiency, global operations of the team globally at Allianz Technology.

 

What you do

 

  • Oversee enforcement and execution of IAM TOM processes and controls across Allianz Technology regions, ensuring compliance with IAM policies, controls, and security standards.
  • Conduct risk management, reporting activities, audits, and assessments, contributing to external audits, while driving controls for MFA and PAM governance implementation.
  • Act as the central point for defining, implementing, and improving IAM processes globally, ensuring alignment with IAM TOM and organizational goals across more than 20 locations.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in IAM operations, governing development and implementation of KPIs, metrics, and SLAs for decision-making services.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure shared goals are met, leading adoption of changes, new processes, policies, and controls across Allianz Technology areas.
  • Ensure smooth integration and consistent application of process changes in global IAM operations, contributing to team stabilization and maturity by providing coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IAM Governance & Business Operations, Allianz Technology IAM Governance, and Allianz Group IAM on strategic IAM initiatives and projects, preparing and presenting presentations to top management.

 

What you bring

 

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong design thinking, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of experience in IAM operations and process management, ideally with a proven track record of managing global IAM processes.
  • Experienced in OPEX, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with a strong understanding of IAM concepts such as identity management, Business Role Management, SoD management, and Access Management.
  • Proven experience in leading process improvements and managing change initiatives in a complex, global organization, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
  • Experience with IAM Governance and Business Operations globally, managing IAM tools and applications, with knowledge of regional regulatory standards and facilitating best practices across teams.
  • Familiarity with Allianz or an understanding of its operational structure and experience in consulting would be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use
