Information Security and Resilience Intern

About the Job 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented university student to join our COO team at Allianz Technology SE Spain and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of two critical disciplines: Information Security and Protection & Resilience.

You'll work closely with our Local Information Security Officer (LISO) and Protection & Resilience Officer (PRO), playing an active role in keeping Allianz Technology SE Spain's governance frameworks robust, compliant, and up to date.

What you do:

Information Security

• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Information Security (IS) risks — from registration through to monitoring and reporting — ensuring all risks are progressed within the established 30-day target.
• Track and follow up on open risks to maintain zero unmanaged risks at any point in time.
• Maintain and update risk records in our GRC platform (RSA Archer), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the preparation of risk status reports for internal governance and oversight.
• Assist with our Third-Party Cyber Risk Management (TPCRM) process and the standard Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework.

Protection & Resilience

• Support the full lifecycle of Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan creation and its associated deliverables.
• Become an active member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) team and keep all Emergency Response Management (ERM) plans current and audit-ready.
• Coordinate Event Security Management in collaboration with the Communications department, Events team, and Change Agent Network (CAN)

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a University degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business Administration (with an IT / security or risk focus), or a related field
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• Basic understanding of Information Security, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
• Detailed and structured, process-driven working approach
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or DORA is a plus
