Role Overview:
The Product Owner (m/f/d) is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by Agile teams by defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog in alignment with Allianz Group’s business and transformation objectives. Operating in a Scaled Agile environment, the role acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring clarity of requirements, transparency of priorities, and compliance with Allianz governance standards.
The Product Owner (m/f/d) works closely with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders and reports functionally to the Tribe or Program Lead within Operations Engineering & Transformation.
What you do:

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product vision, business value, and strategic priorities.

Define, refine, and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria and non‑functional requirements.

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams.

Participate actively in PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure end‑to‑end traceability from business objectives to delivered outcomes, including governance and regulatory requirements.
What you bring:

University degree (bachelor's or equivalent experience) Field of study flexible (e.g. Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field).

8–12 years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Agile delivery roles with proven hands‑on experience working in Agile / SAFe environments.

Strong knowledge of insurance business processes, preferably Property & Casualty products.

Practical experience using JIRA and Confluence for backlog and delivery management.

Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.

Good level of English (required), with other languages (e.g. Spanish or additional European languages) being a plus.
