About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner for Access Provisioning to join our Identity Lifecycle & Access Provisioning (IL&AP) Cluster, a key part of our broader Identity & Access Management (IAM) Tribe.
As Product Owner, you will play a critical role in maximizing customer value through the product developed by our Agile Squads. Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute the product vision, working closely with key stakeholders, including the Cluster Product Owner and Product Owners across other services. By collaborating with stakeholders, you will gain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and emerging challenges, identifying new opportunities to drive innovation and enhance service offerings.
You will play a crucial role in stakeholder management, translating both internal and external demands into a prioritized backlog. You will steer the product lifecycle to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives. A key part of your responsibility will be to defend our internal standards, preventing customizations that could compromise operational stability, while ensuring the most effective use of resources and cost-efficiency.
What you do
- Responsible for strategy of your product, roadmap, design, and delivery, aligning product development and operating model with a large number of stakeholders.
- Represent the product towards internal and external stakeholders often on Senior/OE Executive level.
- Accountable for the product and initiatives as well as audit findings.
- Manage the product for all services based on “One Identity Manager” whilst also defining and aligning the product vision with stakeholders.
- Deeply understand market trends and customer needs and conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities.
- Responsible for the commercial success of the product.
- Accountable for the product’s technical set-up and processes, ensuring service stability and security.
- Responsible for the product’s demand and supply strategy as well as ‘Pitching’ the product to OEs, identifying and clarifying potential demand.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Communicate product vision and progress effectively across the organization.
- Act as a liaison between Product Team and the stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand demand and future roadmap planning.
- Enthusiastic agility in Business and IT and the cultivation of an Agile “You Build it – You Run it” ILAP team.
- Understanding and being “Up-to-date" on the internal and external demand and its prioritized backlog.
- Refine Objectives and Key Results and monitor the fulfillment relevant for his product.
- Evaluate product performance and initiate improvements.
- Understand outcomes of Incident Management processes and identify possible improvements.
- Ensure systems adhere to security best practices, implementing secure coding, infrastructure, and monitoring techniques.
- Work with the security team to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., SOC2, ISO, GDPR).
What you bring
- Extensive experience in product management or a related field, preferably in a large global organization.
- Proven track record of leading successful product strategies and global teams.
- Experience in IAM (Identity and Access Management) /ILAP solutions (e.g. One Identity, SailPoint, entraID) both onsite and cloud based, with strong knowledge of IAG (identity and access governance) concepts and understanding of security, risks and governance.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience managing change and run teams. Agile product development skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in a software modernization effort, implementing new cloud-based architectures and technologies; independent and structured way of working.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or similar field.
- At least 5 years of project lead experience managing a team of about 10 to 20 FTEs in a multinational environment.
- C1 English, supportive a B2 in German.
- Willingness to travel to international locations (India (Pune, Trivandrum), Munich, Barcelona, Bucharest), when required.
