QA Lead - Allianz in a pocket

• Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy across all layers (mobile, backend, integrations), including release gates, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Build and scale automation frameworks (mobile UI, integration and contract testing), ensuring strong coverage of critical user journeys.
• Embed a shift-left approach by contributing early in the lifecycle (refinement, API reviews, Definition of Done).
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and tech leads to ensure continuous quality validation.
• Define and manage test environments and test data strategy, ensuring compliance (e.g. GDPR) and reliability across systems.
• Lead non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, localisation) and ensure production readiness at global scale.
• Drive quality governance, reporting, and continuous improvement through KPIs, defect analysis, and production feedback loops.

• Extensive experience in software QA, including leadership roles driving QA strategy across complex, distributed environments.
• Proven track record building QA frameworks and automation capabilities from scratch in mobile app ecosystems (iOS & Android).
• Strong experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and QA tooling (e.g. TestRail, Xray).
• Solid understanding of risk-based testing, non-functional testing, and large-scale release management.
• Experience working with distributed teams, external vendors, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong technical background (automation, APIs, cloud environments) combined with a structured and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate quality data into actionable insights for both technical and business stakeholders.
