About the Job

We are seeking a structured and analytical Regulatory Review specialist to join the COO Office. This role is responsible for acting as the central “gate-keeper” for all regulatory requirements, ensuring that Allianz Group Corporate Rules and external regulations are clearly understood, translated, and validated before adoption.

 

The position ensures that all regulatory inputs (e.g., Corporate Rules, DORA, other frameworks) are interpreted, assessed for impact, and translated into clear and actionable requirements for Allianz Technology.

The key interactions in this position will be the Head of Regulatory Governance and COO Office, Allianz Group (H4) and all other Allianz Technology units and branches impacted.

 

What you do

  • Participate and align with Allianz Group during Corporate Rule definition and updates.
  • Act as central “gate-keeper” for regulatory inputs from the Group, being the single point of contact.
  • Analyze Group IT Corporate Rules (new or updated) and translate them into clear Allianz Technology requirements, ensuring proportionality and applicability, and assess impact.
  • Monitor and assess relevant external regulations impacting Allianz Technology, ensuring early identification of new requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of regulatory interpretation across Allianz Technology stakeholders and functions.
  • Provide structured regulatory guidance and content support to Allianz Technology internal teams on regulatory topics.

 

What you bring

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field  with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in regulatory analysis, compliance, or governance roles, ideally within a large, international organization or group-level function.
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts (e.g., Corporate Rules, DORA) and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of acting as a single point of contact and aligning diverse teams across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Solid understanding of IT governance and technology operations, enabling effective assessment of regulatory impact on technology units and processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset, able to monitor regulatory landscapes, identify emerging requirements early, and ensure consistency of interpretation across stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with the ability to produce structured guidance documents and communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
