About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead for our Cloud DevOps operations team in Barcelona. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding our team to develop high-availability, low-latency applications that empower our sales agents and brokers to manage and advise customers effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders from architecture, application development teams, testing teams, leadership, and OE representatives to understand challenges, expectations, and requirements of sales applications.
What you do
- Guide and enhance the technical knowledge within the team, ensuring all members are up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies and practices, particularly Kubernetes, Helm, Argo, and GitHub Actions.
- Lead the DevOps strategy, defining best practices and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate the integration of our systems with technical dependencies, including APIGEE, Akamai, and other cloud services.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define DevOps strategies and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
What you bring
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (RDS, EKS, Elasticache) and CI/CD tools, with a particular emphasis on Kubernetes, Helm, Argo, and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Terraform, with experience in Java development being a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like APIGEE and Akamai, and experience in facilitating system integration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are valued.
- Minimum of 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years specifically in DevOps/Cloud/Operations.
