About the Job

At Allianz Technology, we provide central platform governance and services for a large, multi-org Salesforce landscape supporting multiple Allianz entities across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing and Data Cloud.

We are looking for a Salesforce Platform Architect to define and drive the technical standards for our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a design authority for solutions developed across the organization, define platform and security standards, and serve as a key technical reference point for platform teams, implementation partners and Salesforce.

You will play a key role in shaping the future architecture of our Salesforce landscape, supporting platform onboarding and consolidation, strengthening security and governance, and enabling scalable and sustainable solutions across an international environment.

What you do

Own and evolve the reference architecture and design standards for the Salesforce landscape, including data models, sharing and security models, integration patterns, org strategy, environments and release approaches.
Define and maintain Salesforce security standards across the estate and lead the Salesforce Security Community of Practice, in alignment with the central Information Security organization.
Act as a design authority, reviewing solution designs from different entities and implementation partners, defining entry criteria for central governance and documenting architectural decisions.
Design target architectures for platform onboarding and consolidation within a multi-org environment, including migration and coexistence strategies.
Act as a senior technical escalation point, leading root-cause analysis and remediation design for complex platform, performance and integration challenges.
Define development and DevOps standards and drive their adoption across run teams and implementation partners.
Review AI and Agentforce use cases from an architectural perspective in collaboration with the Center of Excellence.
Act as the technical counterpart to Salesforce and implementation partners on architecture topics, release impact and roadmap alignment.
Coach and support platform teams through reference architectures, reusable patterns and hands-on technical reviews

What you bring

8+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform, including at least 5 years working as an architect within enterprise, multi-cloud and multi-org environments.
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect. Certifications in Sharing & Visibility, Data Architecture and Integration Architecture are highly valued. CTA candidates are also welcome.
Strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to review Apex, Flow, LWC and metadata directly within Salesforce environments.
Proven experience working with multi-org Salesforce landscapes, including consolidation, migration and coexistence scenarios.
Strong knowledge of enterprise integration architecture, including API-led and event-driven patterns, integration platforms such as MuleSoft, and ERP and identity integrations.
Deep understanding of Salesforce security, including sharing and permission architecture, authentication, Shield and security posture management, with experience defining and enforcing security standards across multiple organizations.
Solid experience with Salesforce DevOps, including Git-based pipelines, Copado or Gearset, and environment strategies across multiple orgs.
Previous experience acting as a design authority, reviewing solutions developed by other teams and translating architectural decisions into clear standards.
Experience taking ownership of and stabilizing existing Salesforce environments.
Fluent English, with the confidence to communicate and present architectural recommendations to senior stakeholders and external vendors.
An autonomous, structured and collaborative mindset, with the ability to shape scope and navigate complexity within an international organization.

Nice to have

Previous experience within insurance or financial services.
Experience with Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud.
Experience working within a Center of Excellence or governance function supporting multiple entities.
