About the Job
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes within the insurance environment, focusing on the "Lead" insurance business.
This position requires a strong understanding of business architecture, design, and analysis, with a technical and functional perspective. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, testing, and operational security and will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.
What you do
- Analyze business processes and systems within the insurance environment to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans using tools like Postman to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, with good knowledge of the "Lead" insurance business, insurance environment, and its processes.
- Experience in business architecture, design, and analysis, with expertise in specification tasks from both technical and functional perspectives.
- Very good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and database architecture, with operational security experience using Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace, including metrics understanding.
- Multi-year experience in the Scrum environment, ideally with certifications as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master, and familiarity with containerized applications, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with software developers, business, and management, demonstrating the ability to handle a variety of activities independently.
- Well-organized and structured approach to managing tasks, ensuring effective and independent handling of diverse activities.
- Understanding and experience in containerized applications, with familiarity in DevOps and CI/CD processes.
