Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer within the Tribe FirmenOnline, you will play a key role in our digital transformation journey. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment, where your expertise will have a direct impact on how we design, deploy, and operate modern cloud‑based solutions.

What You Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you act as a bridge between software development and IT operations, driving automation and operational excellence across the platform.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management
  Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.

• CI/CD & Automation
  Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, enabling fast, reliable, and secure deployments.

• Kubernetes & Istio Administration
  Manage and operate Kubernetes and Istio environments, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of containerized applications.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Packer, Crossplane, and related tools.

• Database Operations
  Administer relational databases (PostgreSQL), including migrations, import/export processes, and performance tuning.

• Monitoring & Reliability
  Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Dynatrace) to proactively identify issues, optimize performance, and ensure high system availability.

• Security & Compliance
  Apply security best practices to protect infrastructure, services, and data throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  Work closely with development teams to design solutions aligned with business needs, continuously improving reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

• Environment Support
  Maintain and support development, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency and smooth operations across all stages.

What You Bring

You are a passionate DevOps professional with a strong technical background, an automation mindset, and the ability to take ownership end‑to‑end.

Key qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, operating applications in AWS cloud environments
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Istio
• Expert‑level experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Packer
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Groovy, or similar languages
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or comparable solutions
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
• Strong ownership mindset: “you build it, you run it”
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional teams
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a self‑organized way
• A proactive problem‑solver who challenges solutions constructively
• Passion for technology and continuous learning
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
