About the Job 

 

As a key member of the People Analytics team, you will leverage your expertise in Data Analytics to drive automation and develop innovative data products that empower Allianz Technology teams globally. Collaborating closely with colleagues in Germany, Spain, Romania and India, you will ensure high-quality data is readily available to support autonomous, data-driven decision-making across Allianz Technology.

 

Your role involves compiling and consolidating diverse data sets to deliver actionable insights to the People Leadership teams and the broader business. You will engage with global and local business stakeholders to define requirements for data definitions and analytics, ensuring alignment with Allianz Technology's strategic priorities.

 

Your focus will be on understanding customer requests and translating business requirements into comprehensive reporting solutions. You will play a critical role in data governance, developing and maintaining the data glossary, and reporting to Allianz Group for HR metrics, with a particular focus on CSRD reporting. You will contribute your analytical expertise to Allianz Group initiatives and projects, collaborating with Allianz Technology People function Product Owners, Business Partners, IT functions, service providers, and the Allianz Group’s global People & Culture function to drive data quality and autonomy.

 

What you do

 

  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive reporting solutions, aligning with strategic priorities and customer-facing needs, with a focus on HR metrics and CSRD reporting for Allianz Group.
  • Define and standardize key People data, metrics, and KPIs to ensure consistency in reporting, while developing and maintaining a data glossary with robust data governance practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to optimize People data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and driving automation and self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Participate in data audits to ensure data quality, compliance, and integrity across People analytics processes, while being an active member of the global Analytics team, taking ownership and being a thought leader.
  • Provide expert guidance to People Data Analysts, facilitating collaboration between People & Culture, IT, Finance, and business units, and sharing best practices for reporting and insights communication.
  • Design advanced People Analytics solutions, including AI-driven analytics for decision-making, pay equity, turnover prediction, employee engagement, and DEI strategies.
  • Advocate for the development and utilization of data products to streamline processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and ensure alignment on organizational streamlining activities and data initiatives.

 

What you bring

 

  • 7+ years of experience in (People) Data analytics, workforce planning, or related fields, preferably in an international environment
  • Strong understanding of People metrics, compensation analytics and talent management KPIs, with a proven track record in fostering a data-driven culture.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable business insights and engage effectively with stakeholders in virtual teams across various continents and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating good self-organization, prioritization and time management skills while maintaining quality levels in reporting and meeting deadlines.
  • Good assertiveness, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a customer-service-oriented, hands-on mentality and high attention to detail.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, with methodological and conceptual skills, and analytical thinking; other languages are an advantage.
  • Previous experience with SQL, Python and/or other programming languages is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
