Role overview
As the Strategic Business Assistant to the Managing Partner of Allianz Services Spain, you will drive the leadership operating rhythm, enabling effective communication, alignment, and decision‑making. You will support strategic planning, lead key business performance processes such as QBRs and strategy dialogues, and contribute to shaping the regional location strategy across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. In this role, you act as a trusted partner in major transformation initiatives, providing data‑driven insights, structuring complex topics, and ensuring cross‑functional coordination. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills are essential.
What you do:
- Drive Organizational Operations: coordinate and execute the core leadership cadence—including team meetings, town halls, workforce management etc. Create and share high quality presentations and materials that support clear communication and efficient decision-making.
- Enable Strategic Decision-Making: translate leadership priorities into actionable plans, synthesize insights from financial and operational reporting, data assets and platforms, and coordinate the production of business insights, KPIs and internal reporting.
- Lead Business Performance Processes: support the Head of Branch and Branch Management in overseeing performance and priority setting, ensuring targets are transparently communicated and tracked throughout year. Own the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation, orchestrate annual Strategy Dialogues for the location, and liaise with Allianz Services and Allianz Group functions to share information as needed.
- Lead Regional Location Strategy: support the design and implementation of a service footprint across various regional Allianz Services hubs, bringing structure, workforce insights, and operational intelligence to the coordination plan.
- Offer Governance Support: coordinate 2nd line requirements including identification and monitoring of risks and issues, Risk Committee preparation, regulatory / reporting requirements etc. Support with preparation of audits and other internal and external reviews.
- Support Branch Operations: help with operational design and implementation; support business development activities; drive alignment across teams, functions, Allianz Services central and safeguarding functions and other Allianz Operating Entities to ensure robust, scalable operations. Support with procurement activities as needed.
- Steer Change & Transformation: serve as a trusted partner in the Branch’s transformation initiatives—connecting requirements, anticipating impacts, and enabling a unified approach across corporate functions.
What you bring:
- Proven Expertise: 5+ years in consulting, business management, strategy, or operational leadership roles (e.g., IT consulting, strategy offices, transformation PMOs, or operations management).
- Strategic Mindset: A strong track record in transformation, executive level stakeholder management, and operational improvement.
- Global Perspective: International experience and ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments.
- Languages: Excellent English and Strong Spanish command.
- Background in strategy, consulting, or operational leadership, ideally within large, international, or service driven organizations.
- Experience driving senior leadership operating rhythms, ensuring clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution of priorities.
- Strength in data driven decision support, leveraging dashboards, analytics, and structured insights to guide leadership actions.
- Expertise in transformation and cross functional delivery, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and multi location setups.
- Exceptional communication and executive storytelling, crafting concise, high impact materials and serving as a trusted thought partner.
- Familiarity with GenAI applications and their role in enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
