About the Job

Join Allianz Technology Spain as a Digital Workplace Experience Intern and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, automation, and strategic execution support at the Spain Hub.

You will work within the Workplace & Internal IT team supporting the execution of Digital Workplace Experience initiatives, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, documenting and structuring processes, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.

This is a full-time internship offering exposure to real operational challenges across the Spain Hub and the opportunity to contribute directly to data-driven decisions that shape workplace experience for users across Barcelona and Madrid.

 

What you do

  • Support the execution of Digital Workplace Experience initiatives by translating strategic priorities into execution plans, tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders (IT, HR, Iberolatam, HCL), and flagging risks or delays.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track workplace experience KPIs, service performance, and cost optimization metrics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across sources.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to support decision-making by analyzing user feedback, service data, and operational metrics to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes, and propose improvement opportunities aligned with the Digital Workplace strategy.
  • Document and structure key workplace processes by producing clear, structured documentation for managers and end-users, identifying inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and keeping documentation up to date.
  • Contribute to manager-facing documentation and guides that support leaders in their IT-related responsibilities across the employee lifecycle, while identifying automation opportunities in recurring tasks and workflows.
  • Design and implement Power Automate solutions for reporting, notifications, and process automation, and support cost optimization initiatives by extracting and analyzing data from tools like ServiceNow and the Employee Portal.
  • Prepare meeting materials, follow-up summaries, and action tracking for cross-functional workstreams to ensure alignment and progress across initiatives.

 

What you bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, with availability for a full-time internship.
  • Strong interest in digital workplace, data analysis, process improvement and automation, with solid analytical skills and comfort working with data; experience with Power BI or comparable BI tools is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or other low-code automation tools is a strong plus, with a willingness to learn if not yet experienced, and basic knowledge of AI tools and their practical use in productivity and automation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams); familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to produce clear, professional documentation for both technical and business audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining traceability and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Procurement, external service providers).
  • Take initiative, demonstrate reliability and accountability, and are eager to learn in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Basic knowledge in AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
