About the role

The Data & Analytics Platforms Team (DAP) develops and runs central platforms and data products, which enable the Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) to generate value from data & analytics at scale. The major offering is the Allianz Data Platform (ADP) - a PaaS offering -, which comprises necessary capabilities to store, transfer and analyse data, as well as running data & analytics products.

Are you excited about extracting value from data in a scalable manner for one of the world's largest financial services groups?

If so, this role puts you at the centre of that work. You will be the trusted bridge between Allianz's Operating Entities and the platforms they build on, not by engineering the platform yourself, but by understanding what customers really need, clarifying direction, and making sure our Technology, AI, and Data & Analytics offerings are adopted and valued. That bridge sits at the crossroads of business, technology, and data, which means your work shapes how thousands of colleagues across Allianz Group turn data into decisions. To get there, you will collaborate closely with platform engineering, data product, and senior leadership teams, turning the Allianz Data Platform and our wider portfolio into services that customers trust and keep coming back to.

What we value most is your ability to build relationships, simplify complexity, navigate stakeholders, and carry engagement initiatives from the first conversation through to a lasting partnership.

What you do

  • Lead strategic customer engagement initiatives across key accounts, driving satisfaction, retention, and long-term value.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for OE stakeholders on Technology, Data & Analytics, and AI initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor on technology implementation and adoption strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable engagement strategies, delivering operationally stable solutions and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop and implement customer success frameworks, including onboarding programmes, health scoring systems, technology and data roadmaps, and proactive outreach.
  • Analyse customer data and feedback to surface trends, risks, and opportunities — informing improvements to the customer journey and our Data & Analytics Platforms.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders and Directors to define customer engagement strategy, and present regular business reviews highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for development.
  • Collaborate with Data Platform and Global Data Product teams to advance and refine technology and data product offerings.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement.

What you bring

Essential skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in customer success, customer engagement, account management, or related customer-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of experience contributing to the design or strategy of customer engagement programs or customer success operations in a Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or Data & Analytics space, ideally within financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry
  • Experience with customer success methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with enterprise or strategic customers.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end (E2E) Data Product Management,  including data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Working knowledge of cloud data platforms, with the ability to engage credibly and communicate effectively with technical teams on data-related initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to develop clear, insightful reports, business reviews, and executive-level presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments and influencing stakeholders at various levels.

It would be great if you also have (not required):

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry. (Highly Desired)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer retention and expansion initiatives.

If you don’t tick every box, that’s okay—your growth mindset matters. We welcome applicants who bring the essentials and are eager to learn the rest.

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
