As a Technical Transition Manager at Allianz, you will play a pivotal role in our global cloud transformation, ensuring smooth migrations for Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) and driving the evolution of our Cloud Contact Center platform. You will work closely with Product Squads, customers, architects, vendors, and project managers, acting as the crucial link between business and technology. This high-visibility role offers significant impact on global operations and user experience, making it ideal for someone who enjoys translating business requirements into technical solutions, driving innovation, and working autonomously within a global, multicultural team.

What you do

 

  • Lead migration analysis and shape the end-to-end transition journey for OEs.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Map system dependencies across the Contact Center ecosystem, including CRM, Reporting, Voice, etc.
  • Maintain structured documentation, architectures, and release roadmaps.
  • Ensure implemented functionality aligns with design and architecture guidelines.
  • Guide QA by reviewing test cases and supporting full lifecycle validation.
  • Build strong relationships with Product Owners, architects, delivery teams, and OE stakeholders.
  • Introduce new trends and market innovations into our Cloud and Contact Center roadmap.
  • Define technical vision for proof-of-concepts and high-level architectures.
  • Make key structural decisions around modules, services, and evolution paths.
  • Communicate architecture choices and their implications to all stakeholders clearly and transparently.

 

What you bring

 

  • Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or similar, with 5–10 years of experience in complex IT environments.
  • Experience in Contact Center, VoIP, networks, or CRM integration, with a strong understanding of ecosystem dependencies.
  • Experience with Cloud Contact Center platforms is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to document and design technical architectures, with experience in contact center systems analysis or large-scale technical environments.
  • Experience working with global, multicultural teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across hierarchy and regions.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, comfortable owning decisions and following through.
  • Proficient level of English required; and B2 level of German is desirable.
