About the Job

As an Expert Back End Developer for Mobile Projects at Allianz Technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications that support our mobile initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of back-end components with mobile applications. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing performance, ensuring security, and implementing best practices in software development. Additionally, you will leverage AI technologies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of back-end systems.

What you do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications and APIs for mobile projects.
• Collaborate with mobile developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, specifically tailored for mobile environments.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices in software development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance back-end functionality and performance.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7 years of experience as a Back End Developer, with a strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development, particularly for mobile applications.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
• Experience in integrating AI algorithms and models to enhance back-end processes and decision-making.
