About the Job

The Senior Front End Developer plans, develops, tests, and maintains web application solutions for our Commercial Claims applications. This role involves managing technical design and implementation, ensuring high-quality code and functionality. Responsibilities include providing development expertise during concept phases and collaborating with the team to deliver effective user experiences that support our global commercial operations.

What you do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, efficient web applications and user interfaces following MFE architecture for our Commercial Claims solutions.
• Translate UI/UX requirements into technical implementations, ensuring feasibility and optimal user experience.
• Fulfill non-functional requirements of the solution, such as performance, data protection, IT security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with back end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the future maintainability of the frontend applications within the technical and functional environment.
• Utilize DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure, leveraging CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and delivery.
• Work in an agile environment and implement appropriate software engineering techniques, methods, and best practices for front end development.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5+ years of professional experience in front end development or similar roles.
• Expertise in Angular and TypeScript with strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks and their core concepts, along with high proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with several of the following: MFE architecture, web components, responsive design, web accessibility standards, performance optimization techniques, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Skilled in DevOps practices and cloud technologies such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Kubernetes/Docker, and AWS services for CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
• Proficient in configuration, release, deployment, and test management.
• Good knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use to enhance back-end development process, functionality and performance.
• Certifications in Angular, Web Development, UI/UX design, AWS, or Kubernetes is a plus.
