About the Job

As a Technical Lead at Allianz Technology, you will be at the forefront of driving technical excellence and innovation within the organization. You will lead a team of developers and engineers, guiding them in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with Allianz's strategic goals. You will also leverage AI technologies to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of our solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you do

•             Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

•             Architect and oversee the development of full-stack web applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components

•             Oversee the design, development, and implementation of high-quality IT solutions that align with business objectives.

•             Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring clear communication of project goals.

•             Drive technical decision for frontend architecture and backend system design and implementation

•             Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.

•             Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.

•             Ensure code quality through comprehensive code reviews, automated testing strategies, and continuous integration practices

•             Identify technical debt and create roadmaps for system improvements and modernization

•             Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our solutions where applicable.

•             Foster knowledge sharing within the team through pair programming, technical discussions, and documentation

•             Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance development productivity and application performance

 

What you bring

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

•             5+ years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in Angular and Java ecosystems

•             3+ years in a technical leadership position, mentoring and guiding development teams

•             Strong proficiency in Angular framework, TypeScript, RxJS, and frontend testing frameworks

•             Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data

•             Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservice architecture

•             Experience with NoSQL databases, MongoDB or others

•             Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

•             Understanding of web security principles and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)

•             Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools

•             Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences

•             Proven track record of leading successful web application projects from inception to deployment

•             Experience in integrating AI algorithms and models to enhance solution capabilities and decision-making.
